My bot thinks you’re awesome but it’s not very smart
Argh, dude, really? The very first time a new person wants to relate to you on Twitter, and you auto-reply to them via a bot, with a request to follow you on another social media platform?
Give people some credit: they’re smart enough to find you on Instagram themselves.
And they’re smart enough to tell when someone they like and respect is just marketing to them, like I can now.
I hope you value your own personal brand more than that.
If you can’t find the time to authentically relate to a new follower yourself, that’s ok – none of your followers are expecting you to.
They wanted to follow you – get it?
