I was stoked to briefly meet Oscar, Startmate’s new GM, recently. I was clearly not the smartest of the two of us, and he has the friendly, no-bullshit, totally-commit-or-go-home approach I’ve loved in the previous GM Nick Crocker and in Niki Scevak before him.

It’s also great to see the nexus of startups, running and winter sports grow stronger (can’t wait for the first Camp Startmate in Thredbo or Japan!). We could get the folks at Curvejump to put it together…
