I’m in you weekdays as the Entrepreneur-in-Residence for the new cohort of 10 creative tech startups in the Collider accelerator from this week, until mid-July.
I’ll be focusing most of my time on helping the ten startups in the QUT CEA Collider program but I’m keen to meet others in the Brisbane startup community too. I’ll do my best to make it out to evening events, and I’d welcome your Gaddie pitch if you bump into me. I probably won’t accept your request to connect on LinkedIn, and we’re still raising capital for M8 Ventures so I’m not accepting pitches for investment, but otherwise, I’m looking forward to meeting you.
You can also book one of two 15min ‘office hours’ sessions with me each week (one after 5pm and one before 9am each week) at Collider on my Calendly page.
An Office Hours session is just 15mins, so be ready to be concise so we can make the best use of the time.
As an incentive to make sure you‘re not a ‘no show’ your Office Hours session will cost you $15, 100% of which will go towards Catalysr, a not-for-profit accelerator which helps develop the entrepreneurial ideas and skills of Australia’s refugee and marginalised migrant community.
How to find me
Collider and I are based at Coterie 9, Level 6, Z9 Block, QUT Kelvin Grove Campus, Victoria Park Road, Kelvin Grove, QLD 4059.
Like any location in a modern university campus, it can be hard to find. I recommend allowing 10 extra minutes to find it, but it’s off the Musk Avenue entrance to QUT’s Kelvin Grove campus, which is off Kelvin Grove Road.
If you can see the black shipping container which is also Earth and Steam coffee you are outside the ground floor of the building and you just have to take the elevator to Level 6 and turn left exiting the lift.
There’s limited parking right outside or underground paid parking underneath Woolworths Kelvin Grove.
