Get thee to a Startmate demo day #shamelessplug

I’ve been a mentor and investor in Australia’s Startmate tech accelerator since the beginning. When new high net worth friends (and even medium net worth) ask me how to get started investing in tech startups, Startmate is one of the things I recommend they do (the other is BlueChilli).

Startmate’s become so successful you can no longer get in as an investor in the program itself but you can invest in the companies graduating from its program—as close to when the drilling rig starts gushing oil as you’re ever going to get. And the first step to that is attending a Startmate demo day, when they pitch and meet investors.

This year there’s events in both Sydney and Melbourne but places are limited.
